Over the last few months, we’ve seen teams try their level best to reach the biggest stage in college football. The two teams that have managed to get here have had very different journeys throughout the season.

Indiana was believed to be a title contender from the beginning, and their unbeaten run this season solidified their place in the final. Miami, on the other hand, had struggles along the way and almost didn’t make it to the playoffs.

The committee decided that they deserved to be in the postseason run, and Miami grabbed that opportunity with both hands. Now, the No. 1 Indiana and the No. 10 Miami will have equal opportunity to be national champions.

Every aspect of this game guarantees a thrilling matchup for fans of football. Adding another layer of excitement to the final will be the College GameDay crew on duty once again. Let’s take a look at the location, kickoff time, predictions, and more for the final game of the season.

College GameDay Details for the CFP National Championship Game

The crew of Desmond Howard, Nick Saban, Pat McAfee, and Kirk Herbstreit will be on site at Hard Rock Stadium, the home of the Miami Hurricanes. College GameDay visited the stadium once before this season.

The College GameDay crew was at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens for the Week 4 matchup between the Hurricanes and the Gators.

    • Location: Hard Rock Stadium, Miami Gardens
    • Kickoff Time: 5 p.m. ET

As for the predictions for the game, the Hoosiers are a 7.5 favorite over the Hurricanes, according to BetMGM.

Indiana, being the favorites makes sense. They have been the most dominant team of the season. Eight of their last 10 games have resulted in blowout wins as they’ve controlled games on both ends consistently.

Miami, on the other hand, has been through several ups and downs. Their Fiesta Bowl matchup against the Ole Miss Rebels was close. They only won 31-27 due to the advantage gained in the fourth quarter.

In addition to that, they’ve had losses against teams like the SMU Mustangs and the Louisville Cardinals. Despite that, the Hurricanes have proved that they can’t be underestimated in the last stretch of the season. All things considered, we’re in for a thrilling matchup between two of the best teams.
