“They Embody San Francisco’s Culture” – Fans React As Giants Players’ Bizarre Celebration After Dodgers Win Goes Viral

The San Francisco Giants’ opening win in the series against the Los Angeles Dodgers at Dodger Stadium made headlines for a bizarre celebratory moment between the outfielders that circulated on social media.

After achieving three outs in the bottom of the ninth inning and securing a commanding 9-3 victory, the Giants’ outfielders gathered to celebrate by thrusting their pelvises towards each other, a moment that quickly went viral online.

Fans were quick to share their hilarious reactions to the video on X.

“San Francisco, not surprised,” one fan commented.

WTH IS THIS??? Giants outfielders took ‘playing for San Francisco’ way too literally. Take it to the lockerroom fellas – THERE’S KIDS WATCHING!” another fan commented.

“The Giants represent San Francisco. They embody our culture,” yet another fan commented.

Fans continued to share their hilarious takes on the viral moment, with one in particular questioning the clubhouse culture in the big leagues.

“MLB Clubhouses and sports locker rooms in general are extremely homoerotic / full of homoerotic / homophobic joking. Also not a safe space for any potential teammates who are homosexual. But likely many are, based on percentages. But must stay in closet or it’s career death,” one fan commented.

“Who in the hell in that group thought that was a good idea?” another fan commented.

“Mocking the gestures the Dodgers have done for years,” yet another fan commented.

The Giants Take a 2-0 Series Lead At Dodger Stadium

On Tuesday night, the visitors dominated the Dodgers, winning 6-2 and taking a 2-0 lead in the four-game series. The San Francisco offense scored five runs off Yoshinobu Yamamoto, with Eric Haase shining by hitting two solo home runs.

Jung Hoo Lee contributed two RBIs, and Harrison Bader added another solo shot. The game was effectively secured by starter Adrian Houser and the relief pitchers, with Caleb Kilian closing out the game for the visitors.

Now on a three-game winning streak, the visitors aim to close out the series tomorrow in Game 3 with Robbie Ray (3-4) going up against Shohei Ohtani (2-2), in a must-win tie for the incumbent champions.
