Sarah Strong’s Mom Allison Feaster Credits Azzi Fudd, KK Arnold And UConn Teammates for her Daughter’s Special Achievement

UConn Huskies star Sarah Strong’s mother, Allison Feaster, commended her daughter’s teammates for their constant support. On Monday, Feaster reposted a video compilation of Strong’s most recent SLAM cover photoshoot on Instagram.

As Strong worked through various poses and styles for her photoshoot, her veteran teammates, Azzi Fudd and KK Arnold, supported her. The two standout guards were seen hyping Strong up, along with messing with her in what looked to be her first-ever magazine cover shoot. Other Huskies players, such as Jana El-Alfy, were also seen in the compilation.

Allison Feaster included a caption in her post celebrating the chemistry Strong and the company have built over the past couple of years. Feaster believes the support of Strong’s teammates throughout her college basketball career made her journey more meaningful.

“It’s the teammates for me…they who make the journey worthwhile 💙🥹🙏🏾 #uconn #uconnhuskies #bleedbluem,” Feaster captioned with a trio of emojis.

Strong and the rest of Geno Auriemma’s 2025-26 Huskies team are aiming for back-to-back national championships. They are the defending national champions and have churned out an undefeated record of 23-0 (12-0).

Feaster, meanwhile, serves as the Vice President of Team Operations & Organizational Growth for the Boston Celtics.

Sarah Strong Is Inspired By The Way Azzi Fudd And Paige Bueckers Lead Their Teams

In the 2024-25 college hoops campaign, which was Sarah Strong’s first year with the UConn Huskies, she was under the leadership of now Dallas Wings guard Paige Bueckers and veteran Azzi Fudd.

Fudd has now become the Huskies’ vocal leader, as Bueckers has moved on to the WNBA. In her official interview with SLAM, Strong said:

“They both lead in a lot of different ways, [but] vocally that’s kind of out of my comfort zone. I’m still trying to work on that because Paige, when things went wrong, she would huddle us up and [say], ‘You got to pick it up.’ So I’m just still trying to figure that part out.”
