5-Star Recruit Sends Out Fiery Message Ahead of Joining JuJu Watkins And USC

Incoming USC Trojans guard Saniyah Hall recently let out a bold claim about her first year of collegiate hoops.

On Tuesday, March 31, @SCNext on X/Twitter shared a graphic image featuring Hall and fellow recruit Sitaya Fagan, along with USC standouts JuJu Watkins and Jazzy Davidson, as Hall’s recent quote is highlighted.

According to Hall, Coach Lindsay Gottlieb’s team will win the 2027 national championship. This comes with superstar Watkins returning to tip-top shape after she was sidelined for over a year with a torn ACL injury. She will be supported by incoming recruits Hall and Fagan, with Davidson coming off her stellar freshman stint.

“Be ready for us to win a national championship,” Hall was quoted as saying.

Hall will join a South California-based program that recently finished with an overall record of 18-14 (9-9 Big Ten) and was the ninth seed in the 2026 Big Ten conference standings. The Trojans were eliminated from this year’s national tournament in the second round of Regional 4 in Sacramento by Coach Dawn Staley’s South Carolina Gamecocks with a 40-point loss, 101-61.

Saniyah Hall Recently Spoke Highly Of The USC Trojans Program’s Culture

In an article by women’s college basketball writer Elizabeth Swinton, published on Sports Illustrated, Saniyah Hall was interviewed and asked what she has observed about the USC Trojans culture throughout the 2025-26 season.

This is because Hall presumably watched the squad’s games this year as she ramps up for her first year.

“They definitely stick up for one. They have that ‘we over me’ attitude. So, I think no one is selfish, and everyone cares for each other. That’s what I’ve seen a lot this season, and especially what coach Lindsay Gottlieb built at that school with the team is that everyone has the opportunity, and especially with the pro-style play that they have going on…She’s just helped everyone grow off the court and on the court and even in the weight room,” Hall explained. “I think everyone is just so together, and that’s what I like about USC.”
