Yes, Olivia Miles has signed a multi-year deal with Unrivaled. The announcement comes just days before the WNBA draft, where she is widely projected to be the No. 1 overall pick. While that alone would’ve made headlines, her decision to join the growing 3-on-3 league has sparked even more interest around her future.
Olivia Miles Confirms Unrivaled Move Ahead of WNBA Draft
Miles was already part of the league’s “Future is Unrivaled” class (a group of top college players brought in through NIL deals). Now, she’s taking the next step by committing to play in the league’s upcoming seasons.
“After I did the Future is Unrivaled… this seemed like a style of play I could adjust to well,” Miles said. “It’s something I wanted to be a part of.”
Unrivaled features a fast-paced 3-on-3 format on a condensed court, quickly gaining traction as a complementary platform for elite players.
Miles is known for her high basketball IQ, and playmaking ability, both traits that translate well to a 3-on-3 format.
“I love having a lot of space… it’s a lot of quick decisions which I thrive with,” she explained.
That style could allow her to showcase a different side of her game while continuing to develop at the professional level.
It also positions her among a growing group of young stars embracing new opportunities in women’s basketball, including players like Lauren Betts and Azzi Fudd.
What This Means for Her WNBA Future
Despite the Unrivaled deal, Miles’ WNBA future remains on track. She is still expected to be one of the first names called on draft night, with projections placing her at or near the top of the board. Her final season at TCU only strengthened that case, as she averaged 19.6 points per game while leading the program to new heights.
Miles is expected to join the league in a future season, meaning she will first begin her WNBA career before transitioning into the 3-on-3 format.
From dominating at the college level to preparing for the WNBA and now stepping into an emerging league, she is positioning herself at the forefront of the sport’s evolution.
