South Carolina Gamecocks WBB Had Best National Attendance Last Season

Dawn Staley and the South Carolina Gamecocks also have more reason to celebrate, as their home games were the most attended in women’s basketball. The team won last season’s national attendance title, showing that the Gamecocks have undeniable popularity when it comes to women’s basketball.

Whenever the Gamecocks played at their home court, Colonial Life Arena, the team averaged more than 15,000 fans in attendance. This win is also a dominant statement in how popular the team is, as nine out of the ten highest-attended games this season all involved the Gamecocks, with six of the team’s home games drawing more than three Women’s NCAA Final Four games.
