    Flau’jae Johnson’s Rap Shoot Forces Change in Mom Kia’s Plans as She Shares Reality

    Kia Brooks, the mother of LSU Tigers guard Flau’jae Johnson, recently shared on her social media account that she was left in a funny situation by her daughter. On Monday, Brooks uploaded a reel to her Instagram account that shows Johnson filming a music video for presumably one of her latest songs.

    But Brooks pointed out through her caption that she was actually just trying to get her flowers and gifts, but coildn’t do so as Johnson was busy shooting. The aforementioned flowers and gifts were used as props instead, which led to Brooks joking that she had to stay patient being a supportive mom.

    The senior from coach Kim Mulkey’s Tigers was seen wearing a cropped olive green pullover hoodie, with matching jewelry on her neck and wrists, real tree camouflage pants, and a pair of grey Puma Speedcat’s.

    “Just know when you’re supporting your kids dreams, it gets late and you have to wait. Lol🤣😂💁🏽‍♀️ #BusinessMom #ILoveMyKids #SoLoving #SoCreative #Blessed #KiaKids #MomLife #HappyBirthdayToMe #KiaJBrooks #KontentKia,” Brooks captioned the post with a trio of emojis.

    “When you are about to leave so you go to get your flowers and gifts, but you have to wait because your daughter is a rapper and she using them as props for her music video,” Brooks wrote in the video.

    Johnson is currently in her fourth and likely final year of collegiate hoops, much to the delight of Brooks and the rest of her close ones. She spent all four seasons with coach Mulkey’s Tigers, where her biggest accomplishment swas winning the 2023 national championship during her freshman season. This was the Louisiana State-based program’s first NCAA title in team history with Johnson a part of it.

    Flau’jae Johnson and LSU Tigers Defeated Florida Gators

    On the same day that Kia Brooks posted the video of Flau’jae Johnson, the LSU Tigers beat coach Kelly Rae Finley’s Florida Gators by 29 points, 89-60, in the former’s home floor. In the game, Johnson finished with eight points, six rebounds, two assists and a block in 28 minutes.
