    Fairleigh Dickinson vs Iowa Women’s Basketball Box Score: Full Player Stats and Highlights from March Madness 2026

    The Iowa Hawkeyes took on the Fairleigh Dickinson Knights in the first round of the NCAA Women’s Tournament on Saturday. The No. 2 seed in the Sacramento 4 Regional had a hard time beating the No. 15 seed Knights, with the encounter being close until the fourth quarter. The game’s final score was 58-48.

    The Hawkeyes will face the Virginia Cavaliers in the second round of the women’s Big Dance. Virginia defeated Georgia 82-73 on Saturday. Virginia came from a victory in the First Four game against Arizona State, 57-55, on Friday.

    Iowa comes from a regular season in which they finished second in the Big Ten standings with a 27-6 overall record and a conference mark of 15-3. They made it all the way to the final of the Big Ten Tournament, but fell to UCLA 96-45.

    Dickinson finished as the No. 1 team in the Northeast Conference regular season standings, with a 30-5 overall record and an 18-0 conference record. They won their conference tournament by beating the LIU Sharks 79-57.
