The WNBA broke another record on Saturday as the All-Star Game drew more than 19,000 attendees to the United Center in Chicago. The game between Teresa Witherspoon’s ‘Team Spoon’ and Cynthia Cooper’s ‘Team Coop’ featured a high-scoring exchange between Caitlin Clark, Paige Bueckers, A’ja Wilson, Olivia Miles, and many more.
Clark, who has been dealing with various controversies throughout the season, scored 17 points, shooting 5-15 from long range, along with four rebounds and five assists.
Former ESPN “First Take” co-host Skip Bayless highlighted Caitlin Clark’s “have fun” attitude towards the game in the midst of a rocky season. Bayless also pointed out that Clark got along just fine with players whom he claimed previously “resented” her.
Clark’s teammates on ‘Team Spoon’ included Jessica Shepard, A’ja Wilson, Aliyah Boston, Olivia Miles, Nneka Ogwumike, Kiki Iriafen, Jonquel Jones, Courtney Williams, Allisha Gray, and Rhyne Howard.
Skip Bayless Says Caitlin Clark Still Has A Chance At 2026 MVP Award
While Clark missed four games in the first half of the season due to injury, the Indiana Fever star’s season has been overshadowed by Minnesota Lynx rookie Olivia Miles and Dallas Wings star Paige Bueckers.
However, Bayless claimed that Clark can still turn her year around and challenge A’ja Wilson for the WNBA regular season MVP award. In a social media post on X (formerly Twitter), Bayless added that Clark has fully recovered from her back issues and is ready to lead the Indiana offense once again.
