Olivia Miles was chosen as the second pick in the draft after Azzi Fudd. When Dallas Wings drafted Fudd and Minnesota Lynx picked Miles, many argued that Fudd did not deserve to be the first pick and Miles deserved it more. There were even arguments of Awa Fam going first. But as it turns out, all the teams seem to be happy w their choices.
Certainly, Lynx are because in just 7 games in Olivia Miles has shown extreme potential. She started every game and has played over 30 minutes per game. She has averaged 15.1 points, 5 rebounds, 5.8 assists per game. She has consistently performed at a high level and helped Lynx win 5 out of those 7 games.
Lynx have now won their 3rd game in a row. Another game in which Olivia Miles stood out. After losing the first game vs Dream, Lynx got their revenge and won 96-81. Miles got 16 points with 5 rebounds and 8 assists. The stat line was in itself impressive. But she has also entered the WNBA history books with that performance.

Fans were ecstatic to see Miles settle in and rather start to break records already in the WNBA. Many also remembered Clark’s rookie season.
“She’s ballin’ out. It *is* weird though, that people were calling Caitlin a bust in 2024 at this point in the season, with these same stats,” one fan recalled.
“Olivia Miles is in elite company,” one fan said.
“Excellent company, Rookie of the year loading,” another fan claimed.
“Yeah she’s winning ROTY,” another stated.
“CC is goated and the bar was so high for her that she was getting called fraud with those numbers,” one fan remembered.
