Natasha Cloud Takes Multiple Jabs at Angel Reese After Izzy Harrison’s Altercation With Dream Star
In her recent regular season game, Atlanta Dream forward Angel Reese almost got into a fight with Toronto Tempo stalwart Izzy Harrison. Midway through the third quarter, with the Dream up by 10 points, 52-42, Reese was posting up Harrison on the short corner. As Reese made her move, Harrison draped her arms around her and caused both of them to fall. Reese immediately got up and was held back by her teammates as she shouted at the fallen Harrison.
As the moment has since gone viral, it’s gotten the attention of Chicago Sky guard Natasha Cloud. Making its way over to X/Twitter, Cloud took it to her Threads account to take multiple shots at Reese. Cloud wrote multiple posts siding with Harrison, and seemingly disagreed with how Reese handled the situation. The veteran eventually retaliated against onlookers who were in Reese’s defense.

Perhaps another factor that may have riled up Cloud is that Harrison was assessed with a flagrant 2 foul for the sequence and was ejected for the rest of the game. Reese and company went on to defeat the Tempo by an astounding 25 points, 102-77, in away territory. The Tempo will have a chance to retaliate against the Dream when they face again on June 22, this time in Atlanta.
Coach Karl Smesko praised Angel Reese for her poise against the Toronto Tempo
During his post-game press conference, Atlanta Dream coach Karl Smesko was asked for his thoughts on Angel Reese’s poise, which has allowed her to take in her opponents’ physicality. Smesko then asserted that Reese’s poise is what allowed her to thrive against the Toronto Tempo, especially in the second half when Izzy Harrison got ejected, detailing how exactly she stayed composed.
“Yeah, definitely. It’s one of those situations where she’s going to be inside. She’s going to be physical, and sometimes not getting the calls, and you just have to manage it. You can’t control it so you just got to keep playing, and I thought she did tonight. I think that’s a large reason why she had such a great second half of the game,” Smesko said. (2:59)
