Indiana Fever WNBA Draft Preview: Dark Horse Options at No. 10 Overall

The Indiana Fever hold the No. 10 pick in the upcoming 2026 WNBA draft. The team finished as the sixth seed overall last season with a 24-20 record. Indiana spent large parts of its season without key players, such as Caitlin Clark, Sophie Cunningham, Sydney Colson and others, who missed extended periods due to injuries.

Despite dealing with a depleted roster, Stephanie White coached the team to Game 5 of the WNBA semifinals, where they faced the Las Vegas Aces. The Fever’s run highlighted the team’s weaknesses, outlining what it needs to do in the summer.

Reports indicate that the Fever is looking to address its deficiency in the backcourt behind Caitlin Clark and returning veteran Kelsey Mitchell, who led the team in scoring last season.

With over 100 free agents available and the No. 10 pick in hand, the Fever will have no shortage of options to bolster their ranks. Let’s look at three players who could fall to the Fever at No. 10, following the end of the NCAA Tournament.

Indiana Fever WNBA Draft Preview: Who Can They Draft at No. 10?

    1) Gabriela Jaquez

Jaquez averaged 13.5 points, 5.5 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game for the Bruins this season. She was key for the team in the championship game against South Carolina, finishing with 21 points, 10 rebounds and five assists. While this performance saw Jaquez’s draft stock rise, several mock drafts still have her being available at No. 10.

Jaquez’s 3-point shooting and impact on the defensive end make her a solid option for the Fever in this year’s WNBA draft.

    2) Ta’Niya Latson

Ta’Niya Latson was a key contributor for the NCAA Tournament runner-ups, the Gamecocks, averaging 14.1 points, 2.9 rebounds and 3.6 assists per game. The 5-foot-9 guard would address many of the Fever’s backcourt deficiencies with her playmaking and shooting ability, making her a viable option at No. 10.

    3) Raven Johnson

Raven Johnson was also a key contributor for the Gamecocks last season. She averaged 9.9 ppg, 4.0 rpg and 5.1 apg, shooting 48.6%, including 39.8% from 3-point range. Her shooting ability from long range and solid impact on the defensive end are highly rated abilities that could fit well on the Fever.
