The Indiana Fever has been active in free agency, and their main focus has been to bring back the core that led them to the semifinals last season. One pillar of that core, Lexie Hull, has confirmed that she would once again team up with Caitlin Clark to continue their run for the title.
The two announced the news through a TikTok video where Clark was seen enacting an audio that surprisingly featured Hull in the background, saying:
“She’s back”
A user shared the TikTok video on X and wrote:
“CAITLIN AND LEXIE ANNOUNCE SHE IS BACK WITH THE FEVER”
Meanwhile, Sophie Cunningham has also been heavily rumored to sign back with the Fever, with fans sharing several easter eggs on social media about the trio getting together. One fan shared a similar activity in which Clark tagged Cunningham. A user wrote:
“Sophie seems to be up next”
Even though there’s no official confirmation from either side about a deal, Tres Leches might soon be seen together under the Fever franchise once again. The Fever guard trio scored 1363 points together in 2024, more than 40% of the team’s total scoring. That clearly highlights the impact these three guards have had on the team on both ends of the floor.
On the defensive side, Sophie Cunningham, Lexie Hull, and Caitlin Clark have had an even bigger impact. They accounted for more than 50% of the team’s total steals in 2024 (142 out of 273). With most of the core back to the team, the management might now look to add a few frontcourt pieces and perimeter shooters.
Caitlin Clark’s teammate Lexie Hull reveals her pre-game “nap” routine
In a recent conversation with Fox News, Lexie Hull revealed her pre-game routine and said that she always takes a nap before every WNBA game. She said:
“For me, before a game, I always do a pre-game nap, and then as soon a I wake up I do my skincare, makeup and hair and I’ll pick a walk-in outfit, and that’s been my routine for the last four years in the W”
Hull would need every good luck at her side if the Fever are looking to make a title run this season. She is set to sign a multi-year deal with the franchise, ESPN has confirmed.
