WNBA stars DiJonai Carrington and Jackie Young are still enjoying their offseason before an expected frenzied free agency period starts on April 9. On Tuesday, the two shared stories on Instagram featuring seemingly the same locations.
Carrington posted a photo of a skyline with the caption, “life>>>>>” on Instagram. Young posted a similar photo on Snapchat from a slightly different angle.
A fan on X who noticed the similarities in their stories reacted:
“Oh, my god…. Jackie and DiJonai soft launching?????”
Jackie Young has kept her personal life away from the spotlight. Meanwhile, DiJonai Carrington recently broke up with NaLyssa Smith. Carrington and Smith began dating in 2020 while both played for the Baylor Bears in college. The two spent part of last season with the Dallas Wings before Carrington was traded to the Minnesota Lynx and Smith was sent to the Las Vegas Aces.
Smith and Young were part of the 2025 Las Vegas Aces team that won the WNBA championship.
In early November, Smith confirmed the breakup on Instagram while Carrington did the same via IG Live. Smith said last year that she would never date an athlete again.
The similarity in the locations wasn’t the only thing that stood out in Carrington and Young’s stories. They also featured Miley Cyrus, who has been promoting the 20th Anniversary Special premiere of “Hannah Montana.”
