Angel Reese extends support to boyfriend following Game 1 win in NBA Playoffs

Angel Reese may now play for the Atlanta Dream in the WNBA, but her NBA loyalties are split between two teams. She often shows love for the Washington Wizards because of her brother, Julian Reese, and for the Orlando Magic because of her boyfriend, Wendell Carter Jr.

With only one of those teams making the playoffs, she does not have a dilemma. Carter Jr. and the Magic are in, so that is where her support is right now.

The Magic got their playoff run off to a surprising start with a Game 1 win over the top-seeded Detroit Pistons. Reese even shared a highlight from the game on her Instagram Story, spotlighting a big play from Carter Jr.

During the third quarter, Paolo Banchero threw a no-look alley oop to Carter Jr., who finished it perfectly with a powerful dunk.

Carter Jr. ended the night with 17 points, seven rebounds, five assists, and three combined steals and blocks, helping Orlando secure a 112-101 victory.
