Angel Reese Calls Speedy Mormon a “Liar and Manipulator” After Red Flag Jab in Sharp Back and Forth

WNBA superstar Angel Reese had on-camera host Speedy Morman on her “Unapologetically Angel” show on Friday. During one sequence, the All-Star forward asked him to share about what he considers “red flags” in women.

The journalist gamely responded that if a woman has a “YouTube Channel tatted on her, that’s a red flag for me.” He called it a “major red flag” for him before asking Reese to show her tattoo, a request that she denied. The show’s guest added that he saw “a lot of red flags come from you.”

The last statement prompted Angel Reese to reply in kind:

“I think your biggest red flag is that you’re a liar and a mind manipulator.”

    Speedy Morman pushed back:

“You think I’m lying? You see me sitting. I’m not lying at all.”

When Reese pressed her about being a manipulator, the guest fiddled in his seat before answering that he is not that either. He continued:

“I think I’m a good man, who just, like I said earlier, Speedy always tries his best.”

Angel Reese countered, saying that her guest doesn’t always try his best and that he often falls short, a point that he conceded.

While the exchange sounded a little awkward, a little back and forth between Reese and Speedy Morman is nothing new. The two sometimes engage in verbal sparring on social media over different topics.

The journalist was clearly trying to rile Reese up with his answer. He knows that the basketball superstar has a YouTube channel named after her. Reese also has a tattoo of the name of her show, an artwork Morman wanted to see.

Angel Reese took the subtle shots in stride and dished out some of her own.

Angel Reese Requested Speedy Morman To Return as Guest on Her Show

In December 2024, Speedy Morman appeared on the “Unapologetically Angel” show for the first time. A year later, he posted on Instagram clips of some of his hilarious exchanges with the Chicago Sky superstar.

Angel Reese responded to the clip in December 2025 with a request:

“We need to run it backkkkk.”

Three months later, the two were back on Reese’s show with more interesting exchanges than ever. In the first encounter, the Sky forward had trouble getting a straight answer from her guest. In the next episode, the trend hilariously continued with some added shots.
