Top 10 Players in the 2027 NFL Draft Class You Need to Know

    1. Jeremiah Smith (WR, Ohio State)

Had Smith been available for the 2026 NFL draft, he would have surely gotten picked in the first five selections, such is his ceiling. The Ohio State Buckeyes receiver had 87 receptions for 1,243 yards and 12 touchdowns this past season. He could become the first WR taken No. 1 overall in decades.

    2. Dante Moore (QB, Oregon)

Even though quarterback Arch Manning is there, Oregon quarterback Dante Moore has proved his worth to become the first signal-caller off the board in 2027. Last season, he passed for 3,565 passing yards with 30 TDs against 10 INTs with 71.8% completion rate
    and 163.7 passer rating.

His accurate passing skills with strong decision-making and mobility make him a contender for a top-3 pick.

    3. Colin Simmons (EDGE, Texas)

Simmons is an explosive pass rusher with double-digit sack production. He is known for speed-to-power conversion and disruption. Last season, he had 42 total tackles
15.5 tackles for loss and 12 sacks. Over two seasons of his career, he has recorded 91 tackles, 29.5 TFL and 21 sacks.

    4. Arch Manning (QB, Texas)

Coming from a rich legacy of quarterbacks, there’s a lot of reason why Manning is considered an early favorite for the No. 1 overall pick. In 2025, Manning threw 3,163 passing yards, with 26 TDs and 5 INTs. He also rushed for 399 yards  10 rushing TDs.

Even though the Texas Longhorns quarterback may not have been at par with his performance in 2025, the way he finished the season, there is a good chance he will be able to put out an incredible season.

    5. LaNorris Sellers (QB, South Carolina)

Sellers is another high-profile quarterback ripe for taking in the 2027 draft class. The Gamecocks signal-caller has compiled 5,057 passing yards and 33 passing touchdowns over his three-year collegiate career (2023–2025). Last season, he finished with 2,437 passing yards and 13 touchdowns.

Sellers has the potential to be a dual-threat quarterback in the NFL. A good 2026 season would ensure he gets drafted inside top 10 selections.

Overall, this class is loaded with elite quarterbacks, with some scouts claiming that it is even better than this year’s class.
