WATCH: Naomi Osaka’s Show-Stopping Entrance At French Open In Black Gown Before Revealing Stunning Gold Sequin Match Outfit

Naomi Osaka has once again proven why she is considered a great sports fashion icon by sporting an outfit that has all the qualities of a runway masterpiece at the French Open. Besides being renowned for her on-court skills, the four-time Grand Slam tennis champion is known for her collaborations with elite brands that design some of the greatest kits an athlete could ever ask for.

Osaka dazzled the fans in Paris with her stunning entrance for her first-round match against Germany’s Laura Siegemund, sporting a wardrobe choice that has quickly taken over the internet.

During her entry music, Osaka stood still in a black gown while her Yonex bag hung from her right shoulder. She then made past the entry line and started walking towards the court, accompanied by loud pops from the audience. As she kept the bag down, Osaka removed her black top, which revealed a stunning gold sequin match outfit.

Her wardrobe is reportedly customized with strong precision, allowing her to thrive on her signature “fashion speaks first” energy at the warm temperatures of the Parisian red clay. The outfit is a collaboration with Swiss designer Kévin Germanier, similar to her collab with Robert Wun at the Australian Open earlier this season.

Naomi Osaka Talks About Fashion Being the Epitome of her Voice

Naomi Osaka has been renowned for her fashion choices and has always surprised viewers with her unique selections, most of which were head turners during tournaments and local events. During a recent press conference, Osaka was asked if she felt that her glamor-sized wardrobe was a bit extra for a tennis appearance, to which Osaka said:

“I feel like fashion for me I tell people I don’t talk a lot so that way I can talk through my clothes. I can be as loud with colors or patterns or fabrics as I want.”

The reigning champion has already made a glorious mark on the first round and it remains to be seen how her fashion play helps her quickly transition the energy as the tournament progresses at Roland Garos.
