Venus Williams’ husband, Andrea Preti, recently reacted to the American’s practice sessions with Alex Eala at the Mubadala DC Open.
Williams was last seen in action at the Wimbledon Championships’ mixed doubles, where she paired with Kevin Krawietz. The pair suffered an early exit in the opening round against Lloyd Glasspool and Tereza Mihalikova (6-4, 6-4). She had to pull out of the women’s doubles after her partner and her sister, Serena Williams, withdrew from the event because of a knee injury.
She is now preparing for the Mubadala DC Open, where she will team up with Eala in the doubles event. The tournament shared a video of the pair training on the court on Instagram and penned a caption that read:
“All-star doubles practice⭐️”
Preti gushed over Venus Williams with a loving reaction in the comments section that read:

Venus Williams opened her 2026 season at the ASB Classic, where she suffered an early exit in the first round against Magda Linette.
