Just days after marrying Tommy Paul, Paige Lorenze found herself at the center of plastic surgery speculation on social media. The rumors were quickly addressed by a well-known plastic surgeon, who questioned the claims of her plastic surgery.
Paul and Lorenze tied the knot on Tuesday, July 14, at the historic Old Westbury Gardens on Long Island, New York. Soon after the wedding, a collage comparing an older photo of Lorenze with a recent one began circulating online, with users claiming she had undergone multiple cosmetic procedures.
Responding to the speculation, Dr. Michael Persky shared a video analyzing the viral images and shared his doubts on the plastic surgery claims, saying:
“Hi, I’m Doctor Michael Persky here. I’m a double board certified facial plastic surgeon in Encino, California. Paige Lorenz has married tennis star Tommy Paul, and there’s a lot of rumours floating out there about this picture, what types of plastic surgery she’s had. Based on my analysis of these pictures, I don’t know if that’s real. It’s probably a rumour and clickbait. So I’ll leave it at that. I would just like to wish the Pauls a long and happy, healthy marriage with lots of children. So if you have any questions about anything, facial plastics, feel free to give us a call. Tommy Paul’s and Lorenze’s love story began on social media in 2022 after Paul started liking Lorenze’s Instagram posts. She then made the first move by messaging him, and the two eventually exchanged phone numbers.
They met in person at the US Open in New York, after Paul invited her to one of his matches. The couple made it Instagram official in October 2022, got engaged in July 2025, and married in July 2025 after celebrating Lorenze’s bachelorette trip in June.

In a conversation with Vogue, Tommy Paul and Paige Lorenze made their feelings known about their wedding, sharing what made the celebration special to them. The couple chose New York as their wedding destination because it was where they first met.
Speaking about her vision for the wedding, Lorenze said she wanted it to ‘feel true.’ She said:
“Tommy and I always knew we wanted to get married in America, in the state where we met, and somewhere that felt accessible for the people we love most. I wanted the wedding to feel true to who we are and where our story began. The moment I walked through Old Westbury Gardens, everything became clear. After that first site visit, I never questioned another creative decision,” said Paige Lorenze.
Reflecting on the wedding, Paul admitted that he became emotional and burst into tears during the ceremony. He said:
“I was weak in the knees waiting for Paige, literally. It felt like my heart was going to burst out of my chest, and I couldn’t hold back tears. Looking around and seeing every person who has loved us, encouraged us, and shaped us throughout our lives all in one place is something I’ll never forget. It felt like the most beautiful beginning to our marriage,” said Tommy Paul.
Multiple tennis players, including Jessica Pegula, her husband, Taylor Gahagen, Frances Tiafoe, Taylor Fritz, Reilly Opelka, and more, attended the wedding.
