The college basketball fever has hit 23-time Grand Slam champion Serena Williams, who revealed her pick to win March Madness. Duke, Arizona, Michigan and Florida are the favorites to win it all since they are No. 1 seeds.
However, Williams have someone else winning it all.
Williams picked the UCLA Bruins. In the screenshot, when asked who she has winning her bracket, she wrote:
“UCLA of course!”

March Madness is unpredictable and upsets happen every year. Williams didn’t mention the reason behind her pick but UCLA’s strong basketball history, the tennis star’s strong ties with California and her gut feeling could be some reasons.
The Bruins finished with a 23-11 overall record, including 13-7 Big Ten record, good for sixth place in the conference. They were very strong at home, but less consistent on the road. They have registered win against quality opponents including Purdue, Illinois, and Nebraska.
Alycia Parks Provides Insights On Practicing With Serena Williams
Serena Williams is eligible to participate in a professional tennis tournament after she has cleared doping protocols. However, when asked to her directly, she made it known about her no interest in returning to the big stage. She last played in the third round of the 2022 US Open.
The speculations about her potential return are hitting the roof following her intense practice sessions with Alycia Parks, who recently began her 2026 Miami Open campaign with a 7-5, 7-6 win over Sinja Kraus.
During the Middle East swing, Parks reached out to the tennis legend for guidance and input and since then she has been enjoying practice sessions with Williams. Parks shared the timeline of their practice sessions when she is in United States.
“Yeah, I did text her when I was in the Middle East and I was like, ‘Hey, can you practice when I come back to the States?’ and she was like, ‘Yeah, let’s go.’ So we got in a few sessions and yeah, she’s been helping me. When I’m home, I would say probably three times a week,” Parks said.
Parks also shared that she has no idea if Williams is thinking about returning.
“She’s hitting good. Yeah, she’s definitely fit. She looks great and she’s hitting the ball amazing. We don’t really talk about her coming back, just like fun stuff when we are talking,” she added.
Parks has previously said that the practice sessions have revealed that Williams still has the capabilty to take down any top opponent in modern tennis.
