Coco Gauff recently had the time of her life at the English singer FKA Twigs’ concert in Berlin with her team. The American shared glimpses of her visit on social media amid her ongoing training for the upcoming grass-court season.

Gauff was last seen in action at the French Open, where she opened her campaign on May 26. She bested Taylor Townsend in the first round of the tournament and advanced to the second, where she met Mayar Sherif. After getting the better of the Egyptian with a 6-3, 6-2 win, the 22-year-old competed against Anastasia Potapova in the third round.

The latter gained dominance in the third round and claimed a 4-6, 7-6(1), 6-4 win, ending Gauff’s journey in Paris. After this shocking upset, she is currently in Germany, gearing up for the upcoming Berlin Open. Amid this, she took a day off for herself and attended the FKA Twigs’ concert with her team, including her hitting partner Johan Tatlot.

Coco Gauff weighed in on her French Open upset

After suffering an early loss at the French Open against Anastasia Potapova, Coco Gauff addressed the media in the press conference, where she made her feelings known about her game at Roland Garros. Emphasising the points that led to her loss and the things that need improvement, she said:

“Yeah, I mean, I don’t know. I had chances, so I think just trying to capitalize more on these good points that I’m hitting and not quite finishing. So, um, yeah, I think that was the difference that she was able to finish the points and I wasn’t. Sorry, I got tough luck today,” said Coco Gauff.

    She added:

“I think just I lost I feel like I lost the same way in Rome as I did here, which is not good. I think I don’t know, you never want to lose the same way back to back times, and I did and I feel like also in Madrid it was a similar thing losing the same way. So it’s one thing to lose but  I think today I didn’t I mean I competed like I fought my hardest but I don’t think I played the way I wanted to in the crucial moments.”

Coco Gauff will next be seen at the Berlin Open, which is scheduled for June 13 to June 21 at the Steffi-Graf-Stadion.
