Coco Gauff Opened up About What She Learned From Her Loss at Miami Open
After her loss against Aryna Sabalenka at the Miami Open finals, Coco Gauff spoke to the media, where she opened up about her game. Analyzing her performance, she weighed in on what went wrong for her on the court. Stating that she could have done better and revealing the things that she learned during the game, she said:
“Yeah, I think just some of the bigger moments I felt I didn’t do as well as I feel like I can do. I thought I was like a lot of times in the return games, a lot of 30 alls, a lot of deuces, break points, and | just didn’t come over that hump.
“And the third set, I think, you know, the game I’ll learn from is the first game of the match, being 30-love and just remembering to continue to be aggressive in that moment and trusting myself in those moments.”
She added:
“But yeah, there’s a lot to learn from, but I am happy with, you know, the mentality that I approach the match with.”
Coco Gauff further spoke about the love she received from fans and said that she was happy to see how proud they were of her.
