Ben Shelton’s girlfriend, Trinity Rodman’s mother, Michelle Moyer, was recently seen enjoying a heartwarming moment with the footballer and her grandkids. Moyer is mother to three kids, daughters Teyana Lima and Trinity (2002), and son Dennis “D.J.” Rodman Jr., born in 2001.
She welcomed Trinity with her ex-husband, former American basketball player Dennis Rodman. Moyer is also a grandmother to her daughter Lima’s children. Recently, Moyer was seen strolling with the Washington Spirit forward and her grandkids. She also shared a fun moment on Instagram, in which Rodman was seen breaking a leg with her nephew and niece, while carrying the youngest one.
Sharing the moment, Moyer wrote:
“Fun times with this one 💕🤪.”
Rodman’s older brother is also an athlete. He played basketball for Washington State University before transferring to the University of Southern California. Moyer and Dennis Rodman’s marriage dissolved in 2012.
Following this, Moyer raised her kids as a single mother at a Comfort Inn in Orange County. She accompanied the soccer player to the 2022 TIME 100 Next event in New York City. She was also seen cheering for the 23-year-old during the USA’s opening match against Zambia at the 2024 Paris Olympics, where Rodman scored the team’s first goal.
When Ben Shelton’s girlfriend Trinity Rodman Opened Up On How the Tennis Player Handled the Stressful Situation During the Initial Phase of Their Relationship
Trinity Rodman once revealed how Ben Shelton supported her during the starting phase of their relationship. She highlighted that at the time, she was experiencing difficulties, which led to moments filled with erratic behavior. However, Shelton was present to handle the situation and maintain balance.
“I would say Ben was huge in that support, and it’s so funny because it was like the start of our relationship. Rough! Rough timing for Ben. It was literally like the beginning of our relationship. I’m going through, like, the hardest time of my life… I’m really happy we made it out of that,” she said.
“He supported me so much, and obviously, I was with him, supporting him while going through it, which I think was really good for me because I got to still be in the competitive environment. So it was just a good balance, and then he just gets it and understands me and dealt with my psychotic behaviors because I was just like this every day. I’m very happy that he was there for me,” she added.
