American tennis star Ben Shelton released his latest YouTube video on Tuesday as he documents his journey in Munich. In the 2026 BMW Open, Shelton defeated Flavio Cobolli in the finals.
In the video, Shelton can be seen riding in a car around Munich while answering fan questions. One fan asked who was faster between him and his girlfriend, Trinity Rodman.
For some reason, Shelton chose not to answer that question. But that doesn’t mean it was not an interesting one as both are athletes who need to run quite a lot. Rodman plays in the National Women’s Soccer League for the Washington Spirit.
Ahead in the video, one fan asked if Shelton would dare to dye his hair blonde. The BMW Open champion said:
“I think I would look terrible with blonde hair. Um, I’m not trying to beat Gabriel Diallo,” he said.
Ben Shelton and Trinity Rodman have been dating since March after the former went Instagram official with their relationship by adding a cozy elevator selfie in a photodump. Trinity soon confirmed they were in a relationship.
She has been to Shelton’s Wimbledon and US Open matches, constantly cheering him up. Meanwhile, Shelton was also spotted consoling Trinity after the tough Washington Spirit lost in the playoffs.

Ben Shelton returned to the United States of America after playing in Madrid and Munich. However, in a short span of time, he was forced to leave his girlfriend as he went to Rome for the 2026 Italian Open.
After dropping Shelton at the airport, Rodman made a video, revealing her true feelings about what it was like to see Shelton depart in such a short period of time. In the clip, she was breaking down in tears and was too overwhelmed to say anything.
In the video overlay text, she wrote:
“The moment alone after dropping your boyfriend off at the airport, knowing ur not gonna see him for months, right after you just went months without seeing him.”
With the French Open also scheduled in a couple of weeks, it’s unlikely Ben Shelton returns home. Therefore, it will take some time for Rodman to spend quality time with Shelton in the US.
