“Stop With Your Drama” – Alexandra Eala’s Miami Open Opponent Brutally Criticized By Fans For Controversial On-Court Behavior

A tense moment during the Miami Open turned into a major talking point after Alexandra Eala’s opponent, Laura Siegemund, expressed frustration over crowd movement during her match. The incident caught the attention of fans, who expressed their opinions on social media.

Eala and Seigemund locked horns with each other in the second round of the Miami Open on Thursday, where the Filipino tennis player overpowered the German player, registering a 6-7(8), 6-3, 6-3 victory. However, apart from the scoreboard, an incident amid the match garnered the attention of the tennis fans.

During the important points of the match, Siegemund noticed fans walking into the stands and settling into their seats. This disturbed her focus, and she stopped play to complain to the chair umpire. She felt that such movement during points was unfair and distracting.

However, the umpire did not agree with her concern and responded firmly, saying that spectators are allowed to move between games and that this is normal in tennis tournaments.

One of the fans expressed their irritation, writing:

“Can someone shoot a ball at her, she’s unbearable.”
