‘Taken’ Ben Sheton & Married Felix Auger-Aliassime In High Demand, Eugenie Bouchard Says No As ‘Date My Sister’ Debate Takes Over Tennis

The Confessional Cart’s “Date My Sister” question has taken over the tennis world recently, with several chiming in, including Eugenie Bouchard, Marta Kostyuk, Matteo Berrettini, and Jakub Mensik.

“Confessional Cart” is a popular digital series where players are interviewed while riding in a golf cart between the practice courts and the stadium. Among the many light-hearted questions was the one where the players were asked to pick any one from the tour as a dating partner for their respective sisters.

Ben Shelton and Jack Draper were among the popular answers.

Bouchard has no one in mind who could date any of her three sisters.

“I have two sisters and one is single,” Bouchard said. “My answer is zero. Absolutely none of them. No offense, guys.”

Ajla Tomljanovic picked Shelton, but she was soon made aware that he’s already “taken.” Shelton is dating women’s soccer star Trinity Rodman.

“Ben Shelton,” she said. “I think he’s a great guy. Also, my sister’s told for him, if I had a younger sister. Ben, he’s taken. Yeah, but you didn’t say, you didn’t specify, so… Wait, why are you calling me out?”

Moreover, Mensik let it be known that he won’t like for his sisters to date any of the tennis players. Casper Ruud picked Canada’s Félix Auger-Aliassime despite knowing that he’s already married.

“I would probably have to go with Felix. I mean, if he wasn’t married,” he said.

Finally, Matteo Berrettini picked Jack Draper, but “unfortunately,” he doesn’t have any sisters.

“Unfortunately, I don’t have a sister, Jack, but I would let you date her,” he said.

Eugenie Bouchard Lands Broadcasting Role After Retirement

Eugenie Bouchard retired last year after playing her final game in front of her fans in Montreal in the National Bank Open. She’s a Wimbledon finalist and has also reached the semifinals of the Australian Open and the French Open. The former World No. 5 retired early at the age of 32 after persistent injury issues.

Several months later, Bouchard is starting a new role within the sport. She has become a broadcaster for Tennis Channel’s Indian Wells coverage. Lately, on social media, she has been sharing behind-the-scenes moments from the sets.

This is not her first stint with the mic in hand. When she was recovering from surgery in 2021, she worked as tennis analyst.
