Sha’Carri Richardson recently offered a glimpse of her rare selfie with her boyfriend, Christian Coleman. Both athletes are currently gearing up for their appearance at the upcoming events of the 2026 track season.
Richardson opened her 2026 season at the Stawell Gift in Australia, where she delivered a historic performance in the 120-m handicap race. She ran this race from scratch on April 6, 2026, and stood atop the podium after securing an impressive time of 13.15 seconds. With this win, she became the third woman to win the Stawell Gift from scratch since the women’s event was introduced in 1989.
After registering the victory and winning 40,000 Australian dollars, Richardson is now preparing for the upcoming track events of the season. Amid this, she recently posted a rare mirror selfie with her boyfriend Christian Coleman while working out. Taking to her Instagram story, she posted the picture where she wore black-colored gym clothes and Coleman flexed his muscles.

Coleman also opened his season at the Stawell Gift, where he competed in the 120m from scratch. After competing in the semifinals, he fell short of qualifying for the finals after finishing sixth. He clocked a time of 12.48s in the semifinal.
Sha’carri Richardson weighed in on her mindset for the 2026 track season
Amid her preparations for the 2026 season, Sha’Carri Richardson sat for a conversation with Athlos, where she opened up about her thoughts on the 2026 season. Exuding confidence in herself, she said that she was excited for the season and is amped up to deliver something legendary this season.
“Okay, honestly for myself, I’m super excited for this season because I have a feeling that it’s going to be something legendary. Not legendary just on the track, but legendary as the woman that I have been designed to be,” Sha’Carri Richardson said.
She added:
“And I’m super excited to actually take on the challenge to do that in front of the world. Not allow the world to make me shield myself, but to truly walk and embrace and stand firm in everything I know I’ve been working on.”
Further making her feelings known about the Athlos NYC meet, she said:
“Athlos is a safe haven when it comes to women’s sports. Athlos is at the foundation of the belief that we all feel inside of us, but actually creating the space to display it. And Athlos is going to continue to grow. Athlos is going to continue to get bigger, bigger, and better.”
