Noah Lyles’ fiancée, Junelle Bromfield, recently reacted to Sha’Carri Richardson’s message ahead of the 2026 season. Richardson last competed at the 2025 World Athletics Championships in Tokyo, Japan.
She clinched a gold medal in the 4x100m relay and finished in fifth place in the 100m event. In the new year, the American sprinter and two-time Olympic medalist has been honing her skills. Richardson trains at Star Athletics Track Club in Clermont, Florida, alongside her boyfriend Christian Coleman and Lyles.
Recently, she shared a few glimpses on Instagram of her training sessions, including multiple selfies in a black running kit. She also shared a slow-motion video of herself running and wrote:
“Hit List: Sha’Carri Richardson 🎯.”

Noah Lyles competed in his first race of the 2026 season at the New Balance Indoor Grand Prix, held at The Track at New Balance in Boston, Massachusetts, on Saturday, January 24. He finished in second place in the 300m short-track race after clocking 32.15 seconds. Lyles was surpassed by Jereem Richards, who posted 32.14 seconds.
Noah Lyles Opens Up On His Legacy In Track And Field
Noah Lyles recently reflected on his journey so far, saying that while he had his eye on his goals, he did not realize his remarkable achievements until he paused and looked back.
He also recalled an incident where he was invited as a guest and was asked to carry all his medals.
“It’s one of those things where it comes with the territory. You say you want to be the greatest, and you start winning, and all of a sudden, you’re looking behind you, and you have four World Championships gold medals in the 200m, or you are the third fastest man ever, and you’ve won the Olympic title. Earlier this year, I got to show up at a WWE event, and they said, ‘We want you to bring your medals.’ And I’m like, ‘All of them?’ And they’re like, ‘Yeah,’” he said (via sportstar.thehindu.com).
Lyles was recently invited to flag off a marathon in Pune, India, alongside the Jamaican legendary sprinter Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce.
