Harper Murray Talks About the Huskers’ Culture

Nebraska Cornhuskers volleyball star Harper Murray has widely appreciated the cultural identity of the Cornhuskers, which she says is reflected in every aspect of Nebraska sports.

During an interview, Murray spoke about how easy it was to get accepted and be part of the team from the start and highlighted the massive fan turnouts that happen almost every home matches which further defines the Huskers.

“I always knew that Nebraska fans would be supportive, that’s kinda what our culture is based on, whether that’s the volleyball program, the team, the coaches, or the fans, you can feel the love from everyone. The stadium games are a perfect example of that, and it might not seem like a big deal, but in the grand scheme of things, no other school can sell out a football stadium,” she said (4:53).
