AJ Ferrari Shares Powerful Pre-Match Faith Message Ahead Of NCAA Wrestling Championships 2026

AJ Ferrari recently revealed his pre-match mindset, sharing a strong message on social media days before his appearance at the 2026 NCAA Wrestling Championships. The championship is slated to take place from March 19 to 21 at the Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse.

Ferrari’s most recent appearance on the mat came during the Big Ten Championships, where he bested Iowa’s Ben Kueter and Ohio’s Nick Feldman in the quarterfinal and semifinal bouts, respectively. In the final round, he locked horns with Michigan’s Taye Ghadiali, who scored a late third-period takedown to win the heavyweight title by a 5-2 decision. The Nebraska wrestler finished as the Big Ten runner-up.

He is now scheduled to compete at 285 lbs at the 2026 NCAA Wrestling Championships and is entering the tournament as No. 4 seed. Looking to bounce back from his Big Ten loss, he recently uploaded a video on Instagram, sharing his powerful pre-match faith message.

“The horse has been made ready. Victory is your horse, and victory or defeat, I am his. What shall I worry about? What shall I fear? That’s it, guys. Trust in you with all of your heart. I woke up today. I heard the voice of you who are saying, Whom shall I send and who will go for us? And I said, Jeremiah, send me, send me into the storm. Send me to the darkness where light is needed most,” said AJ Ferrari.

He also penned a caption that read:

“🧠 Mindset before the match🎥 Before every match, I remind myself the battle I’m about to have isn’t just physical – it starts in the mind. Every doubt, every fear, every negative thought has to be surrendered. My mindset has to be aligned fully with Yahuah (our Master Father). Scripture teaches us to take control of our thoughts and bring them into obedience to Yahusha (The Christ).”
