Will Campbell Super Bowl Stats: Breaking Down the Patriots Rookie’s Numbers After Losing to Seahawks

Will Campbell has seen his fair share of heat over his performance against the Seattle Seahawks in Super Bowl 60. Among the notable list of players who didn’t play up to their standard, Campbell has seen more heat than most.

However, is the hatred warranted? Here’s a look at the New England Patriots’ offensive lineman’s performance on Super Bowl Sunday, per Next Gen Stats.

    • 14 QB Pressures – most allowed by a player in a game in 2025-26 season
    • 1 allowed sack
    • 26.9% pressure rate
    • 4 quick pressures (under 2.5 seconds) – tied for most in Super Bowl by an offensive tackle

Campbell was drafted fourth overall in the 2025 NFL Draft (NFL media). Campbell’s struggle in the final game of the year wasn’t his first woeful playoff performance of the year, either. Campbell allowed 29 pressures in the team’s four-game playoff run, which is the most since 2016.

How Will Campbell’s Struggles Affected Drake Maye’s Production in Super Bowl 60

Will Campbell’s struggles trickled up to Drake Maye, who was battered against the Seattle Seahawks. Many believe the routine pressures caught up to him, but regardless of the reason, his final production numbers were rough.

Maye completed 27 of 43 passes for 295 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions. He took six sacks in the contest and scrambled five times for 37 yards.

New England lost the contest 29-13, and many would agree that the final score was not indicative of how wide the difference was between the two teams on the field. Before facing the Seahawks, Maye faced the Denver Broncos, where his production was less.

Maye completed 47.6% of his passes for 86 passing yards and a 58.8 passer rating. He failed to throw a touchdown in the contest, continuing a pattern that followed Campbell and Maye all postseason long.

Maye had just one performance in which he threw more touchdowns than interceptions and just one in which he completed at least 60% of his passes. Heading into the offseason, New England will need to do some soul-searching to settle on whether to move forward with Campbell, Maye or any number of position and assistant coaches involved in coaching the tackle and the quarterback.
