Robert Saleh has switched jobs. After the San Francisco 49ers lost their NFC Divisional Round matchup against the Seattle Seahawks, the defensive coordinator has traded for the Tennessee Titans’ head coach job.
Amid this latest news, fans are digging into the personal life of Saleh, where they’ll find Sanaa Saleh, a steadfast presence in the life of the new Titans head coach.
Who Is Robert Saleh’s wife Sanaa Saleh?
Robert Saleh’s wife, Sanaa, was born on April 10, 1984, in Dearborn, Michigan. Like Robert, she also went to Fordson High School and graduated from the University of Michigan with a degree in psychology.
She married the Titans’ head coach in 2007 and they share five sons (Adam, Zane, Michael, Sam, and Jacob) and two daughters (Mila and Ella).
In 2019, she founded Sanaa’s Stars, a charitable organization working towards supporting children who suffered sexual abuse of any form. They help them in the healing process and build a confident life.
Robert has proudly advocated for her wife’s non-profit organization, endorsing her cause during the NFL’s “My Cause, My Cleats” campaign by wearing custom footwear.
“She just wants to bring light to people who are in a dark place in their life. And the things that they do are pretty cool. The amount of work that she’s put into this is pretty cool,” the head coach once said.
Since she has a degree in psychology, Sanaa works as a counselor for those kids.
The Salehs speak Arabic at home.
Robert Saleh was born to Lebanese immigrant parents, Sam Saleh and Fatin Saleh in Dearborn, Michigan. His father played college football at Eastern Michigan University. Sam spent his youth in Lebanon, while Fatin was born there.
Robert also has an older brother named David, who survived the September 11, 2001 attacks in New York City while working in the South Tower of the World Trade Center. The Titans head coach also has two sister and one of them is known as Jehan Saleh.
