Pop singer Madison Beer shared a surprising detail regarding her relationship with Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert.
During her recent appearance on Jake Shane’s “Therapuss” podcast, Beer revealed that her first date with the quarterback took place at her home. The choice was personal, as they wanted to avoid public exposure.
“Dude, literally at my house because we were just like scared to go in public. We were nervous,” Beer said.
During the same interaction, she also revealed that their conversations are generally deep and long, sometimes leaving her to lose track of her surroundings.
“When I’m having a conversation with my boyfriend, my hair could be on fire, and I wouldn’t notice,” Beer said. “But to be honest with you, he’s like the first person I feel that way about. Like I feel, yeah, like I can be literally like, the world can be ending around me and I wouldn’t know.”
The pair’s official public appearance came at the Clive Davis Pre-Grammy Gala in Beverly Hills in January 2026. The duo were first spotted together in August and have even attended an NBA game of the Los Angeles Lakers in March.
Justin Herbert Returned to Chargers After Attending Madison Beer’s Performance
Justin Herbert reportedly missed Phase 2 of the Chargers’ offseason program as he went to support his girlfriend, Madison Beer. Herbert had already informed head coach Jim Harbaugh of his absence in advance.
Harbaugh had no issue with the absence, as he knows how hardworking and resilient the signal-caller is with respect to his work ethic.
“He’s somebody who’s here all the time,” Harbaugh said. “There are times I’ve wanted to shoo him out of the building. He’s at every voluntary and nonvoluntary workout. He’s the same guy who broke his hand and was back the next day practicing, then stiff-arming guys in the game. So yeah, I was happy. Good balance.”
Herbert joined Beer on her tour in Poland on May 11, shortly after her album “Locket” was released. Before that, the Chargers quarterback also appeared in Beer’s music video for her song “lovergirl.”
Late in May, Herbert joined the Chargers’ offseason practice and completely nailed it with a near-perfect performance. He completed 7-on-7 and 11-on-11 drills with new offensive coordinator Mike McDaniel keeping a close eye.
