Past and present New York Giants players tested their skills in a different sport: baseball. Giants linebacker Brian Burns, with the help of Giants superfan Joe “License Plate Guy” Rubak, held a charity softball game on Saturday to raise money for the Hype 4 Life Foundation, whose primary goal is to support families of children with autism.
In support of this initiative, former and current players of the franchise faced one another in a softball game, with Burns as the captain of one team. As part of the activities, a home run derby was also held. According to NFL reporter Dan Duggan, starting quarterback Jaxson Dart hit the most home runs in the derby among all players.
Apart from Dart, Giants wide receiver Malik Nabers and running back Cam Skattebo were also captured striking their own long-range home runs. Unfortunately for New York linebacker Kayvon Thibodeaux, it was reported that he lacked batting skills.

As mentioned, it wasn’t just Jaxson Dart hitting long-range strikes and impressing the crowd with his batting skills. Cam Skattebo also showed off his skills in baseball, with a video uploaded to X/Twitter by New York Giants insider Charlotte Carroll showing the moment Skattebo celebrated after hitting a home run. The 24-year-old went over to his teammates to jointly celebrate.
But the most viral moment did not come from Skattebo hitting a home run. What caught onlookers’ attention was that Skattebo pulled off a clean backflip while celebrating. Skattebo has been out since October with an open dislocation of his ankle, an open tibia fracture, and a ruptured deltoid ligament. However, he appears to have recovered fully from the injury.
