Former NFL star Emmanuel Acho has found himself embroiled in a Twitter/X war with another former NFL player, Asante Samuel, who alleges that Acho benefits from the proceeds of a YouTube show that he actually never built. Amid the back-and-forth, Acho has now issued a firm response, telling Samuel he’s ready to pay him.
“Send me ur cash app bro… It’s no reason I should be living rent free in ur head like this… I’ll use the money I didn’t spend on the channel to pay you,” Acho wrote on X, replying to an earlier tweet from Samuel.
Acho was replying to a tweet from Samuel that directly alleged the former never built the platform.
Acho probably saw the storm coming, and had previously specified the true nature of his association with the “Speakeasy” podcast on YouTube, suggesting it came up without him directly spending to build it, but it does help him employ others.

Amid the ruckus, another key point of contention has been around the ouster of Ryan Clark from ESPN. Acho reacted strongly against the decision, even calling out Stephen A. Smith for not stopping the move.
For now, however, Acho probably has some more explaining to do about his own association with the Speakeasy channel, with more fans asking questions after Asante Samuel’s allegations.
