“The Audacity”: Fans Firmly Reject the Idea of Jake Paul Joining NFL Despite His Optimism

Jake Paul seems to be supremely confident about pursuing a career in the NFL, with the YouTuber claiming that several NFL franchises are interested in bringing him in. However, it appears fans aren’t entirely on the same page as the controversial entertainer.

Paul has been polarizing crowds for a long time, and did much of the same when he made his NFL ambitions clear.

“I think there’s a lot of super mediocrity in the NFL, a lot of not good athletes, a lot of people dropping passes on a consistent basis. I have better hands than them, I’m faster than them, I’m stronger than them, I work harder than them. All it’s going to take is just me after boxing practicing some routes,” he told Front Office Sports.

This drew criticism from fans, with one saying,

“The audacity of yt mediocrity is a helluva drug.”

Jake Paul Talks About Where He Could End Up

Jake Paul ended up explaining how the Cleveland Browns are his dream team to play for.

“I have a couple teams and coaches that I’ve already talked to that are interested in bringing me on to the team,” Paul continued.

“I’d love to go to the Cleveland Browns, been a Browns fan my whole entire life. my mom is a die hard Browns fan and I think they could use some good receivers over there.”

For now, however, the Browns are more focused on getting themselves prepared for the new NFL season.
