Despite hosting around 1,000 guests, the Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce wedding was an extremely exclusive event, featuring the couple’s friends and family, along with mega stars from Hollywood and the NFL.
The guest list included big names like Tom Brady, Patrick Mahomes, Gigi Hadid, Bradley Cooper, Julia Roberts, and more.
One of the guests was Jonathan Thomas, who is the CEO of American Century Investments.
He recently spoke about getting the invite to the wedding during an appearance on “The Compound & Friends”podcast on Friday and said:
“This is from Taylor and Travis. I promise it’s not spam.” Thomas recalled the first text that he got from the couple about the invite.
“So you go through that process a couple of times. Then you got a non-disclosure agreement. Sent to you via DocuSign. Only after completing those steps did guests receive the actual digital invitation, and even that was designed to prevent leaks,” he added.
”After that, you then actually got the invitation itself, a digital invitation, watermarked. So it says Jonathan and Cindy Thomas in the background, so if you took a screenshot, shared it, everybody would know who it was.”
“I won’t get into the details of the NDA, but it had teeth, let’s just put it that way,” Thomas added while talking about the NDA.
Zohran Mamdani Reveals Details of Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce’s MSG Permit Process
Zohran Mamdani recently gave fans an insight into how Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift got their hands on the permit to get married at Madison Square Garden in New York, via an article published by The Rolling Stone on Tuesday.
Mamdani previously revealed that Swift obtained a permit worth around $160,000 before the wedding.
Talking about how the whole process went, NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani said:
“We had some indication that there would be a permit application coming in, but it wasn’t until right before the wedding that that permit was actually submitted. Regarding the city’s response, that application came in just before the wedding. But our responsibility is also to plan for any eventuality and ensure we’re ready to respond. Generally, I think the city services acquitted themselves very well.”
The NYC Mayor was also asked whether he was invited to the wedding himself, to which he said, “No.”
The MSG wedding has been described as “magical” by Travis’ mom, Donna Kelce, and other guests have also said the couple turned the venue into a castle for their big day.
