According to multiple reports, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce donated $26 million to 20 charitable organizations just days before their reported wedding at Madison Square Garden. The donations are said to benefit food banks, educational programs, children’s hospitals and an animal welfare organization.
A representative for Swift confirmed to Variety that the contributions were made this week. Among the beneficiaries is New York City’s City Harvest, which announced that the couple donated $1 million to support food rescue efforts across the city.
The reported donations quickly spread on social media, and fans applauded the gesture. However, not everyone was convinced that the timing was purely coincidental.
One user wrote: “This is just PR to quiet the greedy comments. Most people praising it are gullible and embarrassing.”
Another user suggested the donations were intended to soften criticism surrounding the wedding.
“They know how bad the PR is for their needlessly expensive and obnoxious wedding,” one comment read.

Despite the criticism, many supporters praised the couple for using their wealth to support people in need.

The preparations for the couple’s reported wedding at Madison Square Garden on July 3 is going really well.
According to TMZ, the venue is transformed and ready for the event. Reports reveal that the event will host more than 1,000 guests. The guest list will include people from both the sports and entertainment worlds, including Chiefs head coach Andy Reid, 49ers tight end George Kittle, Selena Gomez, Gigi Hadid, Ed Sheeran, and others.
