The Raiders might be saying goodbye to one of the biggest names on their roster as Maxx Crosby’s trade rumors rise up in this offseason.
Many analysts have claimed that the star Edge Rusher wants out of his current team, as things between him and the Raiders are not as smooth as one would hope. An example of this is when Crosby got into an argument with the staff and even left the facility because of it.
While Crosby has chosen to stay cryptic on his stance about his potential trade rumors, many analysts, including Stephen A. Smith, believe the Raiders should let him go, as he deserves to be with a team that has the capacity to win in the near future:
“Because he’s suffered enough at some point in time. Let’s show a little empathy to the players. My god, look at what he’s been subjected to. And he’s a stud. He can ball. And this is somebody that we want to see in a in a postseason situation in some big time situations. And we’re not going to get to see that for the foreseeable future with him as a Las Vegas Raider because they simply don’t have it right now.”
“Now, maybe Kubak is the right man for the job. Mendoza is the right quarterback behind center. That changed things around. We get that part. But Max Crosby has been a Raider his entire career. And for the most part, they’ve stunk.” Smith said.
