After Failing Teammates’ Confidence, Stefon Diggs Makes Sister Dating Claim at Patriots

Stefon Diggs has had one of the most remarkable careers in the NFL as a wide receiver. In a career spanning over a decade, Diggs has won several individual accolades and is considered one of the best in the business.

Diggs being praised for his on-field brilliance goes hand in hand with the news he makes off the field. Most of the times, he makes those headlines for the wrong reasons. The WR has been involved in several controversies over the years.

On the field, Diggs remains a very reliable receiver. The franchises that give him major contracts trust him just like his coaches and teammates, and Diggs rarely lets them down. Outside of football, however, Diggs doesn’t have a good reputation, even among his teammates.

During his time with the Minnesota Vikings, his teammates were asked, “What guy on this team would you least like to date your sister?” Every player in the video took Diggs’ name, without any hesitation.

Most players called him unpredictable and stated that as one of the biggest reasons why they’d be against it. Adam Thielen had a more detailed answer.

“He’s not a guy that you want to bring home to your parents. You don’t want your sister to bring him home to your parents. So, therefore, she can’t date him,” he said.

Years have gone by since then. Diggs has changed teams, teammates, and organizations and is now a true veteran in the game. So, this time, he was asked the question during a media interaction.

Diggs smiled at first, possibly remembering how it went down last time, and then said:

    “Let me think…None of them.”

Unlike Thielen, Diggs didn’t have a detailed answer, but he laughed while answering the question.

Stefon Diggs Claimed He Was a Good Guy

Diggs spent five years with the Vikings. Safe to assume that most of his teammates knew him very well. Despite that, they said they’d not like their sisters to date him. When the wide receiver was informed about the same, he was shocked.

He couldn’t believe all his teammates took his name, but he still tried to make a case for himself, claiming he was a good guy.

“Nobody want me to date their sister? I’m a great guy. I’m actually a great guy. They feel differently about me? They don’t know me well enough. That’s what it is,” he said.

Outside of this fun banter, Diggs is on the brink of making history. The New England Patriots have reached the Super Bowl, and if he manages to help his team defeat the Seattle Seahawks, he will become a Super Bowl champion on February 8.
