LeBron James is reportedly departing the Los Angeles Lakers while confirming he will be playing in the 2026-27 NBA season. And former NFL star Robert Griffin III has given his prediction about where the legend could end up.
According to Griffin, James is destined for a union with Stephen Curry on the Golden State Warriors, which aligns with several reports that claim his new destination would be the former NBA champions.
“LeBron James is going to play for the Golden State Warriors with Steph Curry,” Griffin wrote on X.
The tweet from Griffin comes after NBA insider Shams Charania confirmed he had received word that LeBron James would be moving on from the Los Angeles Lakers despite making the decision to continue playing in the NBA for another season.
Fans Have Their Say on Robert Griffin III’s Prediction
After Griffin’s tweet, fans got heavily involved, making it clear that Steph Curry and LeBron James in the same team had the potential of being iconic.
Despite the fantasy planning among fans, there is no confirmation yet from LeBron or his agent about where he will end up, and despite his age, many NBA teams will be rushing to give him his final hoorah at the highest level of basketball.
