The scandal involving Dianna Russini and Mike Vrabel cast a shadow over the New England Patriots in the offseason. Pictures were published of them spending time together at a resort in Arizona.
While Russini left her job at The Athletic following the launch of an investigation, Vrabel chose to miss a day of the NFL draft and seek counseling.
Patriots legend Rob Gronkowski gave Vrabel and the Patriots advice on how to reshape the narrative going forward.
“It’s as easy as this: win,” Gronkowski told Fox News Digital. “You come together as a team. You work together, you work your butt off. Everyone has to show that they’re accountable during training camp and the preseason. Once the regular season comes, you gotta win, baby. If you win, it solves all problems. It really does.”
Crissy Froyd Shares Consequences Faced After Sharing Thoughts on Mike Vrabel, Dianna Russini Story
Crissy Froyd was fired from her job as an NFL reporter after sharing her thoughts on the Mike Vrabel and Dianna Russini scandal. Froyd told Mike Asti on Saturday that the situation’s escalation caught her off guard.
“I never expected this to happen,” Froyd said. “I thought that everyone, since all these people knew, and all these people told me from the time that I first hit the ground in the NFL. I was like, ‘Okay, everyone’s saying stuff, or at least I thought so.”
Froyd added that she had had to move her location to avoid being identified by trolls.
In an earlier conversation with Howard Eskin, Froyd claimed that most people in the league knew about Russini and Vrabel’s alleged relationship.
Froyd called Russini’s situation “disgusting” and claimed she bragged about her alleged relationship, knowing that no one from the league would speak out against them.
