The Raiders are expected to face a massive blow as many rumors of Maxx Crosby getting out of the franchise were swirling on the internet after NFL insiders claimed that the star Edge Rusher isn’t happy there.
Crosby is among the top players in the Raiders, and losing him would take them a few steps back as the team is trying to do a rebuild after they finished the 2025 season with an overall record of 3-14.
While many analysts were confident about Maxx Crosby getting a potential exit from the Raiders and listed teams like the Chicago Bears and the Patriots as potential landing spots, the Las Vegas general manager, John Spytek, told the media that he expects the star Edge Rusher to stay with the team.
“Maxx gone. They just buying time.” One fan reacted.
“Maxx’s silence on his future speaks louder than management’s optimism. Raiders better have real plan to compete or he’s forcing his way out eventually.” another fan wrote.
”Saying you “expect” your best player to stay sounds exactly like a guy who knows his star is already packing his bags! We all know Maxx Crosby is carrying that entire franchise on his back. Let the man escape that Las Vegas nightmare and actually compete.” Another fan highlighted.
”Front office ignorant moves again by the Raiders, let the guy go play for a contender, and you the Raiders can rebuild.” Another fan advised.
”Poor Maxx Crosby gave his youth and career to a poverty franchise in the Raiders. It’s like getting drafted into a career life sentence and he’s sitting on death row waiting for his NFL career to die by the executioner Father Time.”
“would be a big blow.” another fan pointed out.
Insider Predicts Bromance Stirring Between Maxx Crosby and Caleb Williams Amid Bears Trade Rumors
Analyst Jason McIntyre shared his views on Caleb Williams and Maxx Crosby’s recent conversation during a podcast.
During one of the recent analyses on “The Herd,” McIntyre predicted that a bromance might be emerging between the Bears star and Crosby, while also highlighting how many ESPN analysts project their union ahead of the potential trade.
“Now, I don’t know if it was this morning or yesterday or whatever, but Adam Schefter came out and said that the Raiders are looking for a Micah Parsons-type package for Maxx Crosby. That leads me to believe they are shopping him and he’s going to the highest bidder.” McIntyre added.
Crosby was picked as the 106th overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft by Las Vegas.
