The New England Patriots surprised many last season by making it all the way to the Super Bowl.
After finishing the 2024-2025 season with a 4-13 record and last place in the AFC East, the Patriots went from worst to first last season, winning the division with a 14-3 record. Quarterback Drake Maye had a huge leap in his second season, finishing second in MVP voting and the team thrived under head coach Mike Vrabel in his first season with the team.

Patriots’ Free Agent Signings
The New England Patriots entered the offseason top five in cap space. They’ve made key free agent addition signings in wide receiver Rome Doubs, guard Alijah Vera-Tucker, and safety Kevin Byard.

The New England Patriots have lost a number of players this offseason including some starters. The Patriots released WR Stefon Diggs who was the team’s leading receiver and LB Anfernee Jennings. The team lost players such as linebacker K’Lavon Chassion and DT Khyiris Tonga in free agency.
