Jaguars Free Agency Signings 2026: Full List of Jacksonville’s Latest Moves Including Signing Chris Rodriguez, Re-signing Montaric Brown, and More

The Jacksonville Jaguars finished the 2025-2026 season with a 13-4 record, winning the AFC South.

Jacksonville suffered a first-round playoff to the Buffalo Bills, but had a big turnaround from the season before, finishing 4-13. As the Jags look to improve their roster and continue to build their roster for the future, they’ve been very inactive this offseason.

The Jaguars were one of three teams to not add a free agent during the legal negotiating period. Let’s take a look at what they’ve done this offseason:

    Jaguars’ Free Agent Signings

Unlike previous years, it’s been a very quiet free agency period for the Jacksonville Jaguars thus far. Part of that is due to the success the team had last season, winning 10+ games and the AFC South division. The Jaguars also entered free agency at the bottom of the salary cap list with not much money to work with.

The Jaguars have only signed one free agent this offseason. They currently have the sixth-least cap space as of Thursday afternoon with around $5.9 million according to overthecap.com.

Chris Rodriguez – 2-year deal, worth up to $12 million

The Jaguars saw star running back Travis Etienne sign a massive four-year deal, worth up to $52 million with the New Orleans Saints. Second-year running back Bhayshul Tuten will have an increased workload with former Washington Commander Chris Rodriguez splitting the backfield with him.

Rodriguez rushed for a career-high 500 yards and six touchdowns last season with the Commanders. He signed a 2-year deal worth up to $12 million with the Jaguars in free agency.

    Jaguars’ Free Agent Departures

The Jacksonville Jaguars have certainly lost more than they’ve gained this offseason. While they’ve only added one new player through free agency, they have lost six players thus far, including some key players.

Here’s who the Jaguars have lost this offseason:

RB Travis Etienne – 4-years, $47 million with New Orleans Saints

LB Devin Lloyd – 3-years, $42 million with Carolina Panthers

CB Greg Newsome II – 1-year, $ million with New York Giants

S Andrew Wingard – 1-year, $3 million with Arizona Cardinals

WR Dyami Brown – 1-year, $3 million with Washington Commanders

TE Johnny Mundt – 1-year, $1.5 million with Philadelphia Eagles

Jaguars Extended Many Players Of Their Own

The Jacksonville Jaguars have re-singed a number of their own players. Those players include:

CB Montaric Brown (3-years, $31.8 million)

OLB Dennis Gardeck (2-years, $6.5 million)

TE Quintin Morris (1-year, $2 million)

DT Matt Dickerson (1-year, $3.5 million)

RB DeeJay Dallas (1-year, $1.3 million)

CB Keith Taylor (1-year, $1.2 million)

CB Christian Braswell (1-year, $1.1 million)
