The NFL Combine continued on Saturday, and it was the marquee day as it took a look at the quarterbacks, running backs and wide receivers entering the 2026 draft. Some were disappointed as some of the big names like Fernando Mendoza, Drew Allar and Carson Beck opted not to show off their skills in front of the scouts. However, a few of them, including Haynes King and Taylen Green, actually did.
For the NFL Combine, quarterbacks have the option not to participate in all exercises, but they still have to get measured and they did. While not all of them got to showcase their throwing skills, a few did impress scouts.

The most disappointing part of the NFL Combine was Fernando Mendoza choosing not to participate in the drills, though the man who came in second to him in the Heisman race, Diego Pavia, also disappointed as many wanted him to participate in at least the 40-yard dash because of his rushing ability that gained him Heisman prominence. The NFL Combine continues on Sunday, the final day, with offensive linemen.
