According to the leaked matchups, the NFL is preparing to put out a tripleheader for Friday, Dec. 25, 2026, with multiple games expected to stream on Netflix.
Here are the leaked four exciting matchups:
1. Green Bay Packers vs. Chicago Bears
The Packers vs Bears matchup is one of the oldest rivalries in the league. As per reports, the Packers are expected to travel to Chicago for a Christmas Day showdown against the Bears in a Netflix-exclusive game.
Two high-profile quarterbacks are expected to feature in this contest. After a strong season from Bears quarterback Caleb Williams, there’s a lot to be excited about in this matchup as he’ll take on Packers quarterback Jordan Love.
2. Buffalo Bills vs. Denver Broncos
The second leaked matchup reportedly has the Buffalo Bills heading to Denver to face the Broncos. Should this be the case, it can set the stage for a rematch of last season’s dramatic AFC playoff battle between Josh Allen and Bo Nix.
Nix took the quiet Broncos almost to the Super Bowl last season. The rise of the team makes Nix an intriguing signal-caller. On the other hand, Allen’s Bills remain perennial Super Bowl contenders despite repeated postseason heartbreaks. With the winter season expected to be in full flow at that point of the year, it could be a snowy and frigid matchup.
3. Los Angeles Rams vs. Seattle Seahawks
The leaked report also suggests that the Rams and Seahawks could square off in a late-night NFC West clash on Christmas Day. Both franchises have regained their past glory status.
The Rams will be led by Matthew Stafford, who was last year’s regular-season MVP. Meanwhile, defending champions Seattle will be led by quarterback Sam Darnold.
4. Houston Texans vs. Philadelphia Eagles (Christmas Eve)
The Texans-Eagles game is expected to be the NFL’s expanded holiday football weekend on Christmas Eve.
The matchup could feature two premier quarterbacks in CJ Stroud and Jalen Hurts. The Eagles are Super Bowl contenders, while Houston is expecting a good year under head coach DeMeco Ryans.
