The Los Angeles Rams’ media day on Monday saw the team continue a tradition that has become a part of their offseason shenanigans, with the Rams posting individual quirky selfies of a lot of their players on their Instagram handle.
Out of all of the snaps, star quarterback Matthew Stafford’s wholesome picture headlined the Instagram carousel as the 2025 NFL MVP posed for a selfie for the Rams’ “media day tradition.”
While the post gained a lot of traction with over 20,000 likes and close to 150 comments in just over 15 hours, the one reaction that truly stood out was from Stafford’s wife.
Reacting to her husband’s selfie on her Instagram story, Kelly Stafford congratulated Matthew on his 18th NFL season. However, she did not miss the opportunity to joke about her husband’s “aging journey” as he rocked a fairly white beard in the picture.

“18th year……been a pleasure to be on this football journey with you… but not the AGING journey🙄🙄🙄🙄”, Kelly Stafford jokingly wrote on her Instagram story.
As the Rams concluded their organized team activities last week, they now head into an extended summer break before they return to their training camp in late July.
QB Matthew Stafford Offloads Trio of High-End Properties Ahead of New Season
With the NFL slated to begin in September, it looks like Matthew Stafford is busy making some real estate decisions in the downtime.
Having purchased three properties in 2022, he and wife Kelly Stafford have now flipped their estates for quite a sum.
According to realtor.com, the couple reportedly sold three LA-based estates for $21.3 million last week.
Out of the three properties, two of them were a part of pop star Drake’s YOLO estate, having invested a whopping $11 million in the project in 2022. The third property that the couple offloaded was a red brick mansion that they invested $10.5 million in the same year.
