“The Falsely Accused Don’t Fold, We Fight”: Marcellus Wiley Claims Big Legal Wins in Assault Charges

Former NFL player Marcellus Wiley secured a big win in the court of law after facing multiple sexual assault allegations. These allegations hurt Wiley’s reputation, but now it seems the matter is resolved in court.

On Tuesday, Wiley uploaded copies of the judgments in three motions that were dismissed by Honorable Judge Dakota D. Ramseur of the Supreme Court of the State of New York. Wiley proudly shared the latest development in his case, saying three cases were thrown out without any deposition, trial, or cross-examination, suggesting how futile those accusations might be.

“The falsely accused don’t fold—we fight,” Wiley said. “Especially when accusations are made louder than apologies ever will be.”

Wiley invited users to read his case, as the contradiction will speak for itself. He no longer feels hurt by the false narrative being put out there against his name, as it will only help his defamation case. However, he requests that people not make jokes at the expense of his son.

Serious Allegations Placed Upon Marcellus Wiley

As per court filings, at least seven women have accused Marcellus Wiley of sexual assault, with four new accusers joining three earlier plaintiffs. The allegation dates back to 1994, when he was a student at Columbia University. Three plaintiffs accused Wiley of allegedly raping them in dorm rooms.

According to The Post, one accuser claims Wiley began a relationship with her at age 13 and later assaulted her when she turned 18. One woman, who was ESPN’s former production assistant, alleged that Wiley invited her to a hotel room under the pretense of a work meeting, where she says she was assaulted.

Wiley has also been accused of coercion, manipulation, and abuse of status.

Apart from Wiley, Columbia University is also facing a lawsuit for not acting on earlier complaints against its former student.

Amid these claims, Wiley has maintained his innocence, denying all allegations.

After playing for Columbia, Wiley was drafted in the second round as the 52nd overall pick by the Buffalo Bills in 1997. He spent four years there before moving to the San Diego Chargers, where in his first year, he earned a Pro Bowl nomination. He also played for the Dallas Cowboys and the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The defensive end finished his career with 322 tackles, 44 sacks, two interceptions and 14 forced fumbles.
